RE: Delegation of Authority - Use of University Properties by Registered Campus Organizations

Authority is delegated to the Vice Chancellor-Student Services, the Dean of Students, and the Associate Dean and Director of Student Activities to grant permission to registered campus organizations to use University properties on a routine basis upon appropriate written application to the Student Activities Office. Approval will be in writing and permission to use University properties shall be subject to all University policies and campus regulations regarding use of University properties as set forth in the Policies Applying to Campus Activities, Organizations, and Students, and the Irvine Campus Policy and Procedures Manual, Section 900-10.

This authority may be assigned as appropriate to Student Affairs officers.

This delegation of authority supersedes Chancellor Peltason's April 10, 1986 delegation on the same subject.
