RE: Redelegation of Authority - Administration of University of California Housing Facililties

The authority to administer the University of California Housing System (UCHS) was delegated to Chancellors by Presidential Delegation of Authority DA 2016, April 5, 1994.

I am redelegating authority to the Vice Chancellor for Student Affairs to establish rents and other fees for use of the University of California Housing System (UCHS) facilities at levels which are adequate to generate the net revenues necessary to comply with all relevant covenants of The Regents pertaining to debt service coverage and maintenance obligations which are contained in loan documents applicable to UCHS facilities and to otherwise assure the continuing financial viability of the UCHS.

This authority cannot be further redelegated.
