RE: Redelegation of Authority - Transfers of Funds for Minor Capital Improvement Projects
The authority to transfer funds among minor capital improvement projects was delegated to Chancellors in Presidential Delegation DA 2229, September 1, 2009 [superseded by DA 2622, April 20, 2018]. I am redelegating to the Vice Chancellor - Planning and Budget, and in that officer's absence, the Associate Vice Chancellor - Budget Office, the authority to transfer funds among minor capital improvement projects (total project cost not to exceed $750,000) when an adjustment becomes necessary, provided the transfer:
- Is between approved projects;
- Does not exceed 25 percent of a project's cost;
- Does not increase funding of a project above $750,000; and
- Does not result in an increased cost to a project involving a Chancellors' residence or office bringing the total above $25,000, unless prior approval by the President has been granted.
This authority may not be redelegated further and supersedes my May 19, 2006 delegation on the same subject (IDA 423).
