RE: Redelegation of Authority - Employee-Vendor Relationships

The authority to approve exceptions to the policy regarding employee-vendor relationships was delegated to Chancellors by Presidential Delegation of Authority DA 0777, March 25, 1983. I am redelegating authority to the Vice Chancellor-Administrative and Business Services and the Associate Vice Chancellor-Administrative and Business Services to approve exceptions to the August 19, 1982 policy regarding employee-vendor relationships upon determination that there are unusual or extenuating circumstances and within constraints imposed by the Political Reform Act.

This authority may not be redelegated further and supersedes the February 11, 1986 delegation of authority to the Vice Chancellor-Administrative and Business Services on the same subject.
