RE: Redelegation of Authority - Appointment of Undergraduate Students as Teaching Assistants

Authority for academic personnel actions was delegated to the Executive Vice Chanellor by the Chancellor in his delegation of authority, dated July 3, 2000. I am redelegating part of this authority to you, as specified below.

Effective immediately I am redelegating to you the authority to appoint, by exception, undergraduate students as Teaching Assistants upon appropriate recommendatoin and justification by the Department Chair and Dean as set forth in Section 410-12 of the Academic Personnel Manual.

This authority may not be further redelegated and supersedes Executive Vice Chancellor Lillyman's delegation of authority on the same subject, dated February 12, 1986.
